Our Straw Baling Process

Needs Farms has been dedicated to providing straw to its customers for nearly 15 years. In that time a lot of innovations have been made to keep up with increasing demand. Our Facility houses state-of-the-art rebaling technology that is capable of breaking up round bales and large square bales onto a conveyor belt that feeds into a customized New Holland Straw & Hay Baler. These uniform quality controlled bales are then pushed into a Macrest Bale Balon where 21 Bales are snugly secured into a bundle. This process allows us to handle everything with machines custom fit with forked spears. It also optimizes space in our warehouse & semi-trailers making every load uniform.
